Kim Siviour combined her love for gardens and birds into this extraordinary quilt, Birden, which was featured at the Houston International Quilt Festival in 2018.
Much of Kim's inspiration for Birden came from sections of old quilts that she married together with today's fabrics. She said it was a challenge, as she was not a fan of doing hexagons, but it was worth the effort in the end.
