A famous quilter told us to check out this new machine. It is just 13 lbs and perfect to take to class, on vacation, or to retreat. Yes it is also perfect for the new quilter, sewist, or a young learner. We loved the machine enough that we asked if we could sell it in our Shop. It's less than $300 and has lots of features we will talk about in future blogs. There are three models. Our pick is the mid-range model and is only $279.99. You can get quilting feet and a carry bag as accessories to complete the package. (Currently we can only ship in the Continental USA, sorry).

Sorry Alex but Brewer is the distributor. The machines are manufactured in Asia FOR Brewer, not BY Brewer.

esThere is no mention of the throat space of the machine. It looks to be about 6"? Just wondering...

I have the Sparrow 25, which is the model up from this one, and it stitches beautifully. It's the one I take to sew days and workshops, and wherever I'm teaching. It's a great machine, and the price point is exceptional.

That's a nice little machine. I've been using a , workshop size Brother machine I bought at Costco 6 or 7 years ago and it runs wonderfully. 11 pounds, comes with a hard case, 70 stitches, walking foot, free motion foot and a quarter inch foot included. Has a default needle down position, speed selector and a small extension table. It has a rather small throat, about 6 inches, but for workshops it works fine. The model at Costco now is newer with more features and runs about $179. I highly recommend this machine.

I notice this machine for sale in a LQS in Cananda, I was curious about it, now I know. Thanks.
